Harmanpreet Kaur Urged To Step Down From Captaincy, Make Way For Smriti Mandhana

India legend Diana Edulji urges Harmanpreet Kaur to step down as India women's cricket captain, to make way for Smriti Mandhana.
Former India legend Diana Edulji has called for a leadership transition in India’s women’s cricket, making a ‘humble request’ to Harmanpreet Kaur to step down as captain and make way for Smriti Mandhana to take over, before it’s too late.
Edulji believes India, the world champions, should begin succession planning ahead of the next ODI World Cup, which will be held in 2019. She said the team should give Mandhana a sustained run in the leadership role while grooming younger players for future responsibility.
