Pregnant actor Samantha was seen sharing a warm goodbye hug with husband Raj Nidimoru at the Mumbai airport. A video of the couple has surfaced online, showing Raj seeing Samantha off as she prepared to head inside the airport. Samantha opted for a relaxed travel look, wearing a pink shirt with loose trousers.
Videos and photos of the couple are doing the rounds on social media. The affectionate airport moment comes at a particularly special time for the couple. Samantha and Raj are expecting their first child together. The actor publicly confirmed her pregnancy earlier this year and also revealed that she would be taking a short maternity break from acting.
She recently celebrated the pregnancy with an intimate baby shower. The actor shared glimpses from the ceremony on social media, giving fans a peek at the traditional celebrations surrounded by family and loved ones.
Samantha and Raj got married in an intimate ceremony at the Linga Bhairavi Temple at the Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore on December 1, 2025. The couple had previously worked together on The Family Man Season 2 and Citadel: Honey Bunny, before joining hands professionally again for Samantha's latest film, Maa Inti Bangaaram.
The year also brought a major professional milestone for the couple with Maa Inti Bangaaram. Directed by BV Nandini Reddy, the film marked Samantha's return as a lead actor and was produced under her and Raj's banner, Tralala Moving Pictures. The film went on to have a successful run, making its success celebrations particularly memorable as Samantha's pregnancy also became public around the same time.
Interestingly, Samantha was already pregnant while portions of Maa Inti Bangaaram were being filmed. Nandini Reddy recalled learning about the pregnancy during the shoot of the song Thassadiya, after Samantha told her she was experiencing morning sickness. The team then took extra care during the remaining portions of the shoot.
Now, with Samantha and Raj preparing to welcome their first child, their latest airport moment offers a candid glimpse of the couple as they step into another important chapter of their lives.
