Rupali Ganguly Joins CBFC, TV's 'Anupamaa' Becomes Part Of Film Body's 18-Member Board

With the new 18-member board in place, Rupali Ganguly finds herself part of a national body bringing together some of the most recognisable voices from India’s creative industries.
Rupali Ganguly has taken on a significant new responsibility as she joins the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) as one of 18 members of its newly reconstituted board. Announced by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on September 16, the new board has been constituted for a three-year term, marking the first reconstitution of the CBFC since 2017.
Rupali joins a distinguished 18-member panel that includes Preity Zinta, Pankaj Tripathi, Suniel Shetty, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Pallavi Joshi, Priyadarshan and Ricky Kej, among other established names from cinema, music, theatre and the wider creative ecosystem.
