FDA takes action against sub-standard milk products

Maharashtra FDA seizes 878 litres of suspected adulterated colostrum in Palghar, flags price gaps in IV sets. Action taken against Kolhapur Milk and Bakers, Amar Sweet in Pune for hygiene violations.

The item was found to be stored and transported unlabelled, without proper temperature control, in unhygienic conditions, and was suspected to be substandard, unsafe and adulterated.
