Man’s body found in Jharkhand well
Chatra (Jharkhand), Sep 17 (PTI) The body of a 22-year-old man was found in a well in Jharkhand’s Chatra district on Thursday morning, with his family alleging that he was murdered, police said.
The incident took place in Kishanpur locality in Sadar police station area.
“The body of the man, identified as Sunny Yadav, has been sent for post-mortem examination at Sadar Hospital. After receipt of the report, it could be ascertained whether it was an accident or murder,” Sadar police station in-charge Anil Oraon said.
The deceased’s father, Bharat Yadav, alleged that his son was thrown into the well by his friends.
The police station in-charge said they would proceed with legal action after a complaint is lodged by the family members.
