From Ideas to Impact: Maharashtra Sets Up Statewide Health Innovation Hub
The proposed Maharashtra Impact and Innovation Hub is being developed to support the Maharashtra Government’s “Health for All” vision.
Maharashtra is looking to change the way healthcare innovations are developed, tested and taken to people, with the proposed Maharashtra Impact and Innovation Hub emerging as a state-wide platform to turn new ideas into practical solutions. The Hub is being developed to support the Maharashtra Government’s “Health for All" vision by bringing government agencies, healthcare providers, private players, academia, innovators and development partners onto a common platform.
Unlike a model that simply introduces new technology, the initiative will focus on identifying health problems at the community level, developing solutions around those needs and testing them in real-world healthcare settings. Solutions that show results could eventually be taken to scale across the state.
