Eight UDP MLAs to join BJP in Meghalaya, claims Khliehriat MLA Kyrmen Shylla

Eight UDP legislators in Meghalaya set to join BJP after Amit Shah’s assurances on coal mining, Khasi inclusion in Eighth Schedule and other demands before 2028 polls.

If eight legislators join the BJP, its strength in the assembly would increase from two to 10, he said.
