Gurugram Hit-And-Run Case: Biker An AAP Volunteer, Contested 2022 Delhi Civic Polls On Party Ticket

Shivani Chauhan, also known as Sia, was riding her Aprilia RS 457 when she was allegedly hit by a Maruti Suzuki Ciaz on Sunday.

A 27-year-old woman biker, who was allegedly rammed by a car on Gurugram’s Golf Course Road, is an Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) volunteer and had contested the 2022 Delhi Municipal Corporation election from Kalkaji ward on a party ticket.

Shivani Chauhan, also known as Sia, was riding her Aprilia RS 457 when she was allegedly hit by a Maruti Suzuki Ciaz on Sunday. A video of the incident, shared by Chauhan, showed the car moving towards her bike before she was knocked off and sent skidding onto the road. Police have since added an attempt-to-murder charge to the case after examining the footage.
