Congress seeks rejection of rival TMC nominations in Nandigram amid unresolved symbol row

Congress has urged the Election Commission to reject nominations of both TMC candidates in Nandigram due to lack of party symbol and insufficient proposers. The move adds to the EC's ongoing dispute over the Trinamool Congress identity ahead of October 6 bypoll.

The Election Commission (EC) had called representatives of both factions for another hearing in New Delhi on Thursday.
