AAP's Baltej Pannu Opposes Draft Chandigarh Health Service Rules 2026, Says Punjab's Share Could Fall To 36%

Pannu claimed that the earlier arrangement provided for a 60:40 distribution between Punjab and Haryana, with Punjab getting 60% and Haryana 40%.
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab media in-charge Baltej Pannu on Wednesday opposed the draft Chandigarh Health Service Rules 2026, alleging that the proposed recruitment framework could reduce Punjab’s established share in Chandigarh’s medical services.
The Chandigarh Administration had issued the draft rules in August and invited comments from stakeholders.
