Transfer cybercrime cases to dedicated stations in Karnataka, orders DG & IGP Saleem
Karnataka police have been directed to transfer cybercrime cases from local stations to dedicated cybercrime units for specialised investigation. The order emphasises prompt digital evidence analysis and fraud transaction freezing.
The order further noted that the jurisdictional and local law and order police stations shall continue to register the complaints relating to cybercrimes and IT Act cases.
