Bidadi farmers plan road blockade, hunger strike from September 21
Farmers in Bidadi plan indefinite hunger strike from September 21, demanding written government order to halt land acquisition. Protesters allege coercion, false cases and pressure from GBDA-linked officials over compensation disputes.
The protesters said farmers were being pressured to part with their land by creating family disputes, threats of legal action and rumours about compensation.
