'B' khata conversion earns GBA Rs 600 crore
Bengaluru’s 'B' khata-to-'A' khata conversion scheme has generated Rs 600 crore so far, with 21,000 properties processed. Officials expect revenue to exceed Rs 2,000 crore by year-end, funding parks and infrastructure in underserved areas.
The revenue generated is significant as conversion fees can run into several lakhs of rupees, depending on a property’s guidance value.
